About the Role:
Absolute Interpreting & Translations is seeking professional Hindi interpreters based in the Dudley, West Midlands area to support patients, end-users, and service providers. The role involves engaging with communities and bridging language barriers in hospitals, councils, schools, and more. The role offers both face-to-face and remote interpreting opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional, high-quality, impartial, and confidential interpreting services.
- Engage effectively with individuals and organisations across a variety of settings.
- Support effective communication between parties in hospitals, schools, social services offices, solicitors, and other relevant locations.
- Deliver remote interpreting services, where applicable.
Skills and Expertise:
- Fluency in Hindi.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to provide accurate and culturally sensitive interpreting.
- Understanding of confidentiality and ethical considerations in interpreting roles.
- Previous interpreting experience preferred but not essential. Successful candidates will be given mandatory induction and training.
