About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Hospitality Manager to join a leading UK care home in the Great Yarmouth, Norfolk area. This role focuses on creating an exceptional resident experience and a positive staff environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a service experience aligning with the care home’s values of compassion, empathy, and transparency.
  • Develop and maintain a positive working environment, fostering teamwork and high-quality service.
  • Ensure all residents receive an exceptional experience, exceeding their needs and expectations.
  • Manage food service operations, including menu planning, preparation, and delivery of high-quality meals.
  • Develop and maintain a compelling activities program catering to resident interests and promoting health and well-being.
  • Maintain a superior first impression experience for all visitors.
  • Ensure effective and high-standard housekeeping throughout the facility.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Proven experience in Hospitality Management.
  • Excellent people management skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with residents and stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of food service operations and menu planning.
  • Good understanding of nutrition and dietary requirements.
  • Knowledge of resident needs and interests, particularly for older people.
  • Experience in developing engaging activities to promote well-being.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping principles including cleaning and hygiene.
  • Experience with budget management.

Job Facilities/Benefits:
