About the Role:
Barchester is seeking a highly motivated Hospitality Coordinator to support our new build projects in London. This national role focuses on ensuring Barchester meets its hospitality standards and commercial goals across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the Barchester brand and business growth by delivering hospitality excellence in catering, housekeeping, and laundry.
- Ensure hospitality training is delivered effectively and to a high standard.
- Assist with the implementation of the chefs academy for coaching and development of chefs and kitchen staff.
- Provide operational insights to grow occupancy and deliver customer satisfaction.
- Develop and ensure high-quality menus and food offerings that meet customer expectations.
- Conduct dining experience training in accordance with Barchester standards.
- Support new hospitality initiatives launched by the Head of Hospitality.
- Support new build VIP events and Head Chefs inductions.
Skills and Expertise:
- Passion for making a difference to residents’ lives and encouraging independence.
- UK driving licence for supporting homes across the UK.
- City and Guilds 706/2, Advanced Cooking, or equivalent qualification in catering/management.
- Level 3 or 4 Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Background in catering or hotel management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain resident confidentiality.
