About the Role:
As a Hospitality Host at a Barchester care home in York, you’ll create a welcoming environment for residents, ensuring they receive exceptional care and support. Your role is key to fostering a warm and engaging atmosphere through events and high-quality hospitality in our dining room and bar areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, engaging, and helpful service in dining room and bar areas.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors.
- Assist with resident needs and inquiries.
- Support the care home team in providing exceptional service.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience in a similar hospitality role (preferred).
- Personable and caring demeanor.
- Genuine interest in residents and their families.
- Ability to engage effectively with residents and families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- (Age 18 or over due to serving alcohol).
