About the Role:

Hamberley Care Homes is seeking a dedicated and reliable Bank Housekeeper for Charrington Manor, a luxury care home in Surrey. You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the home, contributing to the comfort and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the supply of clean laundry and maintain housekeeping services throughout the home.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and order in all areas of the care home (bedrooms, communal spaces, bathrooms).
  • Handle laundry and linen care, ensuring attention to residents’ belongings.
  • Interact with residents, offering assistance and support.
  • Maintain housekeeping supplies and report shortages to the manager.
  • Work collaboratively with caregivers and other staff to support the care plan and home operations.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Previous domestic experience in a similar care home setting.
  • Flexible and reliable attitude.
  • Commitment to customer care and first-class service provision.
  • Basic knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations.
  • Empathy and a desire to make a difference to the lives of residents.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and work on own initiative.
