About the Role:
Hamberley Care Homes is seeking a dedicated and reliable Bank Housekeeper for Charrington Manor, a luxury care home in Surrey. You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the home, contributing to the comfort and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the supply of clean laundry and maintain housekeeping services throughout the home.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and order in all areas of the care home (bedrooms, communal spaces, bathrooms).
- Handle laundry and linen care, ensuring attention to residents’ belongings.
- Interact with residents, offering assistance and support.
- Maintain housekeeping supplies and report shortages to the manager.
- Work collaboratively with caregivers and other staff to support the care plan and home operations.
Skills and Expertise:
- Previous domestic experience in a similar care home setting.
- Flexible and reliable attitude.
- Commitment to customer care and first-class service provision.
- Basic knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations.
- Empathy and a desire to make a difference to the lives of residents.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and work on own initiative.
