About the Role:
This Housing Management Coordinator position in Hartlepool offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our customers. You’ll provide vital tenancy support, ensuring safe and well-maintained homes while assisting them in achieving long-term housing security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting customers experiencing homelessness or at risk.
- Ensuring customer properties are maintained to high standards.
- Assisting customers with housing benefit claims.
- Issuing notices and attending court (when necessary).
- Preparing vacant properties for new tenants within designated timelines.
- Maintaining health and safety standards in properties.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience managing a housing management caseload.
- Knowledge of re-letting, rent collection, and formal tenancy action.
- Ability to lead and support colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and well-organised approach.
- Collaboration with internal and external partners.
