About the Role:

This fixed-term HR Administrator position (maternity cover until 31st December 2025) is a full-time role, offering 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Part-time options may be considered. Hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days remote) will be available after the initial training period. The role involves providing excellent service to stores within the HR Services team, ensuring accurate colleague records and meeting legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming HR communications, prioritizing and responding promptly, escalating as needed.
  • Process colleague documents, log and file electronically.
  • Create routine HR correspondence and other correspondence as requested.
  • Address basic HR policy and process queries, escalating complex issues.
  • Raise and book Purchase Orders for HR costs.
  • Support the recruitment process, manage vacancies, conduct right-to-work checks, and prepare paperwork for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date colleague data and cleanse as required.
  • Support colleague benefits administration, including service awards and discounts.
  • Take notes for HR-related meetings.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent service delivery.

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Basic knowledge of HR practices.
  • Experience with data entry and HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
