About the Role:
Harbour Healthcare Group is seeking a highly motivated HR Business Partner to join their People Team. This role involves supporting the company in its compliance with regulations and best practices while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures (including data protection, Equality Act, and health & safety).
- Drive continuous improvement in engagement and welfare activities, maximizing productivity and devolving HR responsibilities to line managers.
- Support the transformation and strengthening of the organizational culture.
- Provide professional support and advice to managers on workforce issues.
- Support the development of effective employment policies.
- Coach, mentor, and support staff members to identify development needs, championing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
- Design and develop HR training programs for managers and employees.
- Consult with management on performance, organizational, and leadership matters.
- Conduct needs assessments to enhance employee performance.
- Lead by example in building excellent working relationships.
- Coach and mentor regional managers and high-potential colleagues.
- Attend team meetings with stakeholders to improve communication and support a robust program of up-skilling teams.
- Ensure managers develop their teams to deliver safe care.
- Work closely with support office departments.
- Champion Harbour Healthcare as the employer of choice.
- Resolve concerns and complaints in a timely manner.
- Work with the Senior Regional Team on continual improvement of quality systems.
- Provide expert advice and support on risk management.
- Ensure all HR policies, procedures, and documentation are implemented effectively.
Skills and Expertise:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements/legislation/guidance, and best practice in line with CQC.
- Experience in writing policies and procedures (desirable)
