About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced In-Store Cleaning Supervisor to lead and motivate a cleaning team at Sainsbury’s Northwich store. The role requires excellent supervision skills and a commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and motivate a cleaning team.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Plan and manage cleaning schedules, rotas, and staff timekeeping.
- Recruit, train, and develop cleaning staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and address any employee relations issues.
- Monitor health and safety compliance within the store.
- Maintain accurate stock levels of cleaning materials.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience managing cleaning teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in training and developing staff.
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning procedures and best practices.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in time-recording systems.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- 12.44 per hour
- 30 hours over 6 days
- Sunday – Day off
- Monday – Friday 05:30 to 10:30
- Saturday 05:30 to 10:30
