About the Role:
Lead a high-performing team responsible for interest rate risk reporting within Lloyds Banking Group’s Treasury Reporting and Finance department. This critical role involves driving accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team responsible for end-to-end Interest Rate Risk Reporting (IRRBB) measurement and reporting.
- Deliver accurate and timely Non-Interest Income (NII) and balance sheet results for regulatory stress testing (Pillar 2), including Bank of England scenarios.
- Oversee IRRBB reporting, including NII sensitivities and market value, to measure exposure against risk appetite and regulatory returns.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes through modelling changes and maintaining robust control frameworks.
- Collaborate with second-line risk to ensure alignment with relevant policies and governance.
- Support the business with insightful analysis using treasury data and modelling.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key collaborators across Group Corporate Treasury and Finance.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the team, setting clear objectives, providing constructive feedback, and supporting career development.
Skills and Expertise:
- Strong leadership experience in finance, risk, or treasury teams.
- Comprehensive understanding of Treasury functions and financial risks, with a particular focus on interest rate risk.
- Expertise in interest rate risk measurement techniques and regulations (e.g., Pillar 2).
- Experience in managing teams responsible for risk reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Data analysis, modelling, and reporting skills.
