About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Interim Service Manager to support our Care Experienced Service in Exeter. This role requires expertise in practice development, service improvement, and operational oversight, while also supporting team managers in managing social workers and practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting and leading task and finish groups
- Improving practice oversight and planning
- Implementing stronger transitional planning
- Managing a heavy workload
- Maintaining high quality standards
Skills and Expertise:
- Professional qualification such as DIPSW, CQSW or equivalent
- HCPC Registered
- Recent relevant statutory experience managing regulated resources for young people
- Experience managing multi-agency teams
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage a heavy workload from various sources while maintaining quality and working under time constraints
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge of legislation and regulations surrounding children in care
