About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced interim systems engineer to lead the analysis, design, and implementation of solutions enhancing our infrastructure and technical systems. This role will focus on third-line support and mentorship of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive systems analysis to identify enhancement opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess feasibility, and propose innovative solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement advanced solutions addressing complex business challenges.
- Define project scopes, objectives, and success criteria.
- Architect system enhancements, workflows, and integrations aligning with business needs.
- Resolve escalated technical issues and inquiries from the Systems team.
- Offer advanced troubleshooting and guidance to ensure efficient issue resolution.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the technical team.
- Provide technical leadership, share best practices, and facilitate documentation and skills development.
- Utilise advanced data analysis tools to extract actionable insights.
- Create sophisticated reports, dashboards, and visualisations for strategic decision-making.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, solutions, and processes.
- Provide training to end-users and technical team members.
- Continuously improve knowledge and understanding across supported software and hardware technologies.
- Maintain a strong customer focus.

- Proven track record in technical support and infrastructure enhancement.
