About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Analyst with a Finance background for a 12-month contract role. The role is pivotal in supporting change, compliance, and system delivery across Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily IT support to Finance colleagues.
- Handle and resolve problem tickets.
- Offer key knowledge and expertise for informed decision-making.
- Contribute to the Better Credit programme, implementing crucial changes.
- Safeguard system integrity and compliance with ICFR controls.
- Perform routine and ad-hoc tasks to support Finance teams.
Skills and Expertise:
- Validated Classic General Ledger data interrogation skills.
- Excellent relationship building with business partners.
- Ability to articulate business requirements through functional system specifications.
- SAP FI/CO configuration and/or testing skills (advantageous).
- Understanding of Profit Centre/Cost Centre reporting structures.
- Accounting qualification (fully or part qualified, desirable but not essential).
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Desire to learn, contribute, and drive progress.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience handling change from conception to support.
- Project delivery experience within Finance.
- Commercial awareness of the wholesale business.
- Strong people management and teamwork skills.
- Service leadership experience in support provision and project leadership.
- Consistent delivery of results.
