About the Role:
Manage and support the IT team in Suffolk, ensuring smooth IT service delivery and data security. Oversee workload prioritization and provide mentorship to IT technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Line manage IT team, offering support, guidance, and mentoring.
- Monitor and prioritize IT team workload.
- Guarantee IT systems continuity and data security.
- Maintain high-level IT service availability and compliance.
- Escalate 1st-line IT technician issues to Head Office 3rd-line support.
- Collaborate with 3rd-line engineers.
- Manage service desk tickets and escalate as required.
Skills and Expertise:
- Microsoft Office 365 expertise.
- Proven ability to implement organizational changes.
- Project management skills for ICT projects.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Prioritization, pressure management, and staff development skills.
- Health and safety awareness.
