About the Role:
Our kitchen team at Kings Court is pivotal in the care home, and the Kitchen Assistant supports the Cook in preparing nutritious and appealing meals tailored to residents’ preferences and dietary needs. The role ensures a positive dining experience for residents and maintains the high standards of our state-of-the-art kitchen facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Cook with meal planning and preparation.
- Ensure meals meet dietary requirements and resident preferences.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Prepare meals according to established procedures and recipes.
- Maintain accurate records of food inventory and usage.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience in a kitchen environment (preferred).
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexibility to work 6-hour shifts on a 3-on/3-off pattern.
