About the Role:
Support the kitchen brigade in maintaining a clean and efficient working environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen operations, and will help keep the area clean and tidy, and contribute to a positive kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of all kitchen areas.
- Washing dishes and utensils.
- Mopping floors and cleaning kitchen equipment.
- Stacking and unpacking dishwashers.
- Recycling and adhering to health and safety procedures.
- Assisting with basic food preparation and storage.
Skills and Expertise:
- Guest-centric approach.
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised.
- Sound judgment and decision-making.
- Adaptability and positive response to change.
- Basic food handling knowledge (desired).
