About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our primary school near Wigan. This exciting temporary position focuses on Year 1 teaching, demanding a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and experience fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute the KS1 curriculum.
- Develop and nurture an engaging learning environment to support pupil growth.
- Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents to foster a positive school community.
Skills and Expertise:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Prior experience teaching KS1 pupils (highly desirable)
- Up-to-date safeguarding training (preferred)
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate (or willingness to apply)
- Two professional references
