About the Role:
Absolute Interpreting & Translations is seeking professional Latvian interpreters based in the Dudley, West Midlands area to provide face-to-face and remote interpreting services. This role is a great opportunity to join our established network of interpreters and contribute to important community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional, high-quality, impartial, and confidential interpreting services for a range of clients.
- Provide face-to-face interpreting services in hospitals, schools, social services offices, solicitors’ offices, and other public and private sector organisations.
- Provide remote interpreting services (telephone and video).
Skills and Expertise:
- Fluency in Latvian.
- Proven experience in professional interpreting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and impartiality.
- Knowledge of interpreting best practices.
- Proficiency in relevant interpreting tools.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply).
