About the Role:
Absolute Interpreting & Translations seeks skilled Latvian interpreters in Wolverhampton to bridge language gaps for a variety of clients. This role involves delivering professional, high-quality interpreting services to ensure effective communication between patients, end-users, and service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and impartial interpretation services in Latvian, ensuring clear communication.
- Manage interpreting requests, from initial contact to post-session follow-up.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism during all interpreting sessions.
- Adapt interpreting style to the specific context (hospital, school, council, etc.)
- Conduct both face-to-face and remote interpreting, as required.
Skills and Expertise:
- Fluency in Latvian and English.
- Proven experience as a Latvian interpreter (ideally).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Strong ability to manage challenging situations with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Proficiency in using interpreting equipment (if applicable).
