About the Role:
Inspire Neurocare is seeking passionate and empathetic Life Skills Facilitators to support younger adults recovering from brain injuries, strokes, spinal injuries, or disabilities like MS. This role focuses on empowering individuals to live more independently through rehabilitation and tailored care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized care and support to residents, fostering independence and well-being.
- Develop and implement person-centred care plans, working closely with nurses and therapists.
- Help residents with daily activities, including personal care, therapy sessions, and social interactions.
- Create a supportive and engaging environment that encourages individual growth and goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document and report on resident progress and care interventions.
Skills and Expertise:
- Passion for helping others and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
- Empathy, understanding, and patience in interacting with individuals with diverse needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- (Potential) Experience in healthcare or care assistant roles.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
