About the Role:
Become a Trainee Lifeguard at Perran Sands Holiday Park, a fantastic opportunity to learn the ropes of pool safety and guest service in Cornwall. Help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests. Develop critical safety skills, while assisting with guest inquiries and concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and apply lifeguarding techniques, including pool safety protocols, first aid, and emergency procedures.
- Monitor swimmers and promptly respond to any incidents.
- Maintain a safe and fun environment for all guests.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proficient swimmer (50m in under 60 seconds, 100m front and back, 30 seconds tread water, surface dive, climb out unaided).
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and respond confidently in emergency situations.
- Previous lifeguarding experience (preferred, but not required).
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
