About the Role:
Become a certified lifeguard at Orchards Holiday Village, close to Brightlingsea on the Essex Sunshine Coast. This trainee role offers a fun and active environment, focusing on guest safety and a positive pool experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Master lifeguarding techniques, including pool safety, first aid, and incident response.
- Supervise swimmers and ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for all guests.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
Skills and Expertise:
- Strong swimming skills (50m in under 60 seconds, 100m continuous front/back, 30 seconds tread water, surface dive)
- Ability to climb out of pool unaided, where permitted.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and apply lifeguard procedures.
- Availability for flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
