About the Role:
Join Haven’s team as a Trainee Lifeguard on the Norfolk coast, ensuring a safe and fun-filled swimming experience for our guests. You will gain valuable lifeguarding skills and experience in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and apply lifeguarding procedures, including pool safety and first aid.
- Monitor swimmers, responding quickly to incidents and maintaining a safe environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist guests with inquiries and concerns.
Skills and Expertise:
- Strong swimming ability (50m in less than 60 seconds, 100m front and back, 30 seconds tread water, surface dive).
- Ability to climb out of a pool unaided.
- Previous lifeguarding experience is a plus, but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Alertness and ability to respond confidently in any situation.
