About the Role:
As a Maintenance Electrician at UKNNL, you will perform routine maintenance on electrical and instrumentation plant systems, alongside project work, breakdown repairs, and safe isolations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical and instrumentation plant systems.
- Carry out project work.
- Conduct breakdown repairs.
- Ensure safe isolations of equipment.
Skills and Expertise:
- Time-served Electrician or Instrument Mechanic with recognized apprenticeship (e.g., NVQ level 3 Electrical/Instrumentation or equivalent).
- Understanding of single-line electrical drawings, instructions, and manuals.
- Proficient in English and Maths.
- Developed Vetting cleared (including identity, employment, financial, criminal record checks, interview, and 10+ years UK residency).
- Self-motivated, driven, and resilient.
- Ability to make correct and informed decisions under pressure.
- Evidence of self-motivation, drive, energy, and resilience.
- Appointed as a Nominated Person Electrical.
- Knowledge of maintenance programmes and company/industry best practice (desirable).
- Knowledge of Operation & Maintenance requirements (desirable).
- IOSH Working Safely (desirable).
