About the Role:
Our Lincolnshire client seeks a highly motivated Management Accountant to provide critical financial insights and support to the sales and marketing teams. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, fostering strong relationships with commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts for commercial activities.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual commercial reports for the leadership team.
- Collaborate with the Financial Reporting team to manage audit queries related to commercial activities.
- Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Enhance commercial reporting and analysis processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely updating of sales pricing within the system.
Skills and Expertise:
- Strong accounting knowledge and working towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred, but not essential).
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel and IT skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
