About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic department at Co-op Academy Failsworth in Greater Manchester. This role involves delivering high-quality mathematics instruction to Key Stage 3 students, fostering their problem-solving and reasoning skills. You will contribute to the department’s commitment to maximizing student progress and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to foster problem-solving and reasoning skills.
  • Prepare and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Assess student progress and provide tailored support to meet individual needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent teaching practices across the department.
  • Maximise student performance in GCSE Mathematics.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Mathematics.
  • Proven experience teaching mathematics at Key Stage 3.
  • Passion for mathematics education and a commitment to student success.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Facilities/Benefits:
