About the Role:
Drive operational excellence and team success as the Mechanical Maintenance Operations Manager in West Lothian. Refine processes, boost team performance, and identify innovative solutions to enhance service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of mechanical engineers.
- Mentor and guide mechanical engineers to optimize performance.
- Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and offer expert support.
- Develop efficient workflows using advanced tools and systems.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and service standards.
- Monitor performance metrics for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with leadership to explore growth opportunities and expand client services.
- Align mechanical operations with water hygiene offerings.
- Contribute to long-term operational strategies.
- Oversee mechanical service projects ensuring successful, timely, and cost-effective completion.
- Manage resource allocation for client and business objectives.
- Develop strong client relationships and resolve service challenges.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience in a busy FM/ mechanical services environment.
- Expertise in leading teams of M&E Maintenance Engineers.
- Operational management and process optimization experience.
- Exceptional leadership skills, including remote and field team management.
- Proficiency in using KPIs to measure success and identify growth areas.
- Experience as a Mechanical Supervisor/Mechanical Project Manager/Mechanical Maintenance Manager/FM Operations Manager.
- Mechanical project management experience.
- Knowledge of water hygiene or cross-functional operations (advantageous).
- Experience in fast-paced, small-to-mid-sized business environments.
- Adaptable, resourceful, and proactive mindset.
- Ambitious and committed to impactful contributions.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Competitive salary (negotiable): 45,000 – 55,000
