About the Role:
An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated mixed veterinary surgeon to join a renowned RCVS-accredited practice in Cambridgeshire. This role focuses on a varied caseload, particularly equine and farm animal care, offering a balanced approach to veterinary practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine checks and common procedures, including broken limb repair, caesareans, and rig operations.
- Provide expertise in artificial insemination and embryo transfer.
- Offer care for farm animals ranging from smallholders to large commercial farms.
- Engage in zoo veterinary work, handling various species and procedures.
- Support the dynamic team of veterinary professionals in a purpose-built facility.
Skills and Expertise:
- RCVS accreditation as a mixed veterinary surgeon.
- Experience in equine and farm animal care.
- Proficiency in surgical procedures and routine checks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
