About the Role:
Stirling Council seeks a dedicated Nature Restoration Officer to spearhead nature restoration and biodiversity initiatives, driving forward the “Alive with Nature” Plan. This role is crucial in achieving Stirling’s Climate and Nature Emergency Plan goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver key nature restoration and conservation projects across Stirling.
- Provide leadership, advice, and guidance on biodiversity and ecology issues.
- Support enhanced environmental decision-making processes.
Skills and Expertise:
- Degree level education or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Proven track record in delivering successful projects in large organizations.
- Effective communication skills at all levels.
- Experience working effectively with partners and managing competing priorities.
- Passion for nature and its relationship with climate change.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- 30 days annual leave plus 7 public holidays (rising to 35 after 5 years).

- Biennial incremental progression until top of pay scale.
