About the Role:
Support residents in a purpose-built care home, providing 24-hour specialist dementia care, residential, and respite care. Make a real difference in residents’ lives by assisting with daily routines and personal care. Build strong relationships with residents and their families, fostering a positive and fulfilling environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support residents with daily routines, including personal care (washing, bathing, toileting).
- Assist with medication administration (as trained).
- Monitor residents’ well-being and report any concerns to the care team.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other care team members.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience in caregiving (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with residents and families.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Understanding of dementia care (preferred).
- Good physical health and stamina.
