About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Night Shift Nurse Coordinator (RMN/RNLD) to lead and supervise night shifts at Cygnet Churchill in London. Your leadership will ensure the highest quality of care for patients. You will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the ward and maintaining a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the smooth running of night shift operations.
  • Take leadership responsibility for the ward in the absence of the Ward Manager.
  • Act as a role model and mentor to nursing staff.
  • Identify and assess complex clinical and non-clinical issues, implementing solutions and monitoring outcomes.
  • Participate in clinical audit on the ward and hospital-wide.
  • Coordinate tasks to ensure timely and efficient hospital operations.
  • Provide professional clinical support and advice to on-call doctors, nurses, and other team members.
  • Manage routine activities and respond to emergencies autonomously.
  • Escalate issues appropriately to the on-call manager.
  • Ensure compliance with Cygnet policies and procedures.

Skills and Expertise:

  • At least two years experience as an RMN/RNLD coordinating night shifts.
  • Excellent documentation, audit, and integrity skills.
  • Knowledge of current nursing practices.
  • Commitment to patient recovery and risk management.
  • Compassionate, resilient, and dedicated to empowering service users.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills (desirable).
  • Interest in leadership, research, and assessment (desirable).
