About the Role:
CareTech seeks a compassionate and dedicated Night Support Worker to provide person-centred care to adults with mental health needs in the West Midlands. This role is crucial in supporting individuals to live independently and make their own decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality care and support to service users following a person-centred approach.
- Monitor and document service user needs and progress using established outcome-measuring tools.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for service users.
- Engage and interact effectively with service users, fostering positive relationships.
- Coordinate care plans and communication with other team members.
- Remain calm under pressure and maintain professionalism during challenging situations.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience in a caring environment (preferred, but not essential).
- Ability to work nights, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Confidence in working alone and collaboratively.
- Passion for making a positive difference in people’s lives.
- Good written communication skills.
