About the Role:
We are seeking a Noise Logging Technician to assist in leak detection activities for water companies in Berkshire. This role involves deploying and retrieving specialized listening devices (loggers) to identify and record water leakage noises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and retrieve noise loggers within designated areas.
- Position loggers on fire hydrants and valves.
- Retrieve loggers after 24 hours and download captured data.
- Analyze data to identify leakage noises.
- Document findings and report to relevant teams.
Skills and Expertise:
- Full UK driving license.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with manual handling and potential for long driving hours.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the water industry or similar field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of water leak detection or relevant field.
