About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated Registered Nurse to become the Deputy Home Manager at a leading care home in Houghton-le-Spring, Tyne & Wear. This role will lead and inspire a team to deliver high-quality care and enhance resident experiences in a dementia care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire care team to deliver exceptional resident experiences, promoting choice and independence.
- Ensure adherence to care standards, policies, regulations, and care plans.
- Implement and monitor care home policies, standards, staff welfare, and training to maintain an excellent reputation.
- Develop personal relationships with residents, relatives, and visitors to improve resident quality of life.
- Deputise in the overall management of the care home, including report generation, budget management, and quality of life monitoring.
- Maintain a safe environment for all, including colleagues, residents, and visitors, by identifying and reporting any hazards.
- Ensure team participation in training and development opportunities.
Skills and Expertise:
- Registered Nurse with a current NMC Pin
- Experience managing a team, supervising staff, and creating effective rotas.
- Knowledge of quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services.
- Strong understanding of the NMC Code.
- Proven leadership and motivation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Competitive salary of 20.00 per hour (40,040 per annum)
