About the Role:
Lead a nursery room, ensuring high-quality childcare and stimulating learning experiences for children. Implement daily routines and activities, fostering the overall well-being of children in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, observing and extending children’s learning.
- Demonstrate leadership within the nursery environment.
- Collaborate with the manager and team, fostering positive teamwork.
- Communicate effectively with parents/carers, promoting partnership and involvement.
- Maintain compliance with EYFS regulations, child protection guidelines, and health and safety protocols.
Skills and Expertise:
- Minimum NVQ3, NNEB, or equivalent childcare qualification
- 3+ years’ experience as a nursery nurse
- Proven leadership and staff management skills
- In-depth knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
