About the Role:
Our Nursery Room Manager will oversee the educational and social development of babies and young children (aged 0-5). This role includes creating a safe learning environment, nurturing social and behavioural skills, and engaging children in age-appropriate play.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support a team of childcare workers.
- Delegate tasks, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Mentor and train staff to maintain high care standards.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning activities.
- Organize a daily routine balancing learning, play, and rest.
- Create stimulating environments to encourage childrens curiosity.
- Develop individual learning plans for each child.
- Ensure the room is well-organized and resources are effectively used.
- Create displays reflecting childrens work and progress.
Skills and Expertise:
- Early Years qualification (Level 3 or higher) in childcare.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Experience working in an early years setting.
- Excellent communication skills with children and adults.
