About the Role:

A fantastic opportunity awaits a highly motivated and qualified Occupational Therapist to join a leading healthcare provider in Hertfordshire. This role offers a chance to contribute to a comprehensive range of rehabilitation services, from medium to low secure settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Occupational Therapy services to designated units and service user groups.
  • Conduct assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based interventions.
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and Occupational Therapy colleagues.
  • Provide supervision and support to other Occupational Therapy staff and students.
  • Engage in professional development, continuous learning, and training.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Qualified and registered Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.
  • Proven experience in mental health, and knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
  • Patient-centric approach and commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Strong decision-making and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting (preferred).
  • Experience working with service users with mental health diagnoses (preferred).
