About the Role:
BHRUT seeks a highly qualified and innovative Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. This role involves advanced assessments and treatment plans for patients with diverse conditions, while offering opportunities for professional development and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced occupational therapy assessments for patients with complex needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Hold responsibility for a defined caseload, working independently and seeking senior support when needed.
- Supervise and mentor less experienced therapists and assistants.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Experience in one or more of the following specialties: Stroke, Acute Frailty Therapy Team, Care of the elderly, Specialist haematology and oncology, Gastroenterology, Renal, Acute Respiratory, Orthopaedics, Surgical, Acute medical ward and Respiratory (desirable).
