About the Role:
This role provides comprehensive administrative and financial support to the Practice Manager, fostering efficient practice operations and enhancing patient services. The PA and Finance Assistant will work closely with the practice manager and partners to improve key systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage mailboxes and petty cash.
- Assist with financial reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end claims.
- Prepare monthly payroll.
- Perform general finance administration.
- Provide administrative support to the Practice Manager.
- Support the practice manager in the effective administration and management of the practice.
- Work under the direction of the practice manager and Partners.
- Support the practice manager with projects, systems, and procedures.
- Arrange meetings, prepare agendas, and produce minutes.
- Undertake tasks in areas of change management and continuous improvement.
- Provide key performance information when requested.
- Support Practice Manager in the compilation of practice reports.
- Provide appropriate assistance to the Practice Manager in day-to-day activities and duties.
- Support with complaint management.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and embedding of an effective practice training program for all staff.
- Set and monitor performance targets, identifying areas for improvement to enhance patient services.
- Support Friends & Family Survey HR Support
Skills and Expertise:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in payroll administration.
- Understanding of practice management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
