About the Role:
This part-time Picker position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a high-volume retail environment. Working 20 hours per week across Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, you’ll be essential for maintaining efficient stock management and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and dispatch goods using handheld terminals.
- Advise the manager of any discrepancies in picking.
- Check quality, shelf life, and packaging of goods for delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service by processing deliveries promptly and efficiently.
- Handle delivery staff interactions, queries, and complaints.
- Maintain a proactive and positive attitude to meet pick targets.
- Maintain a professional appearance and be punctual.
Skills and Expertise:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Experience with handheld terminals (preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail in order to ensure accurate picking and dispatch.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
