About the Role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving RCVS-accredited small animal practice in Essex. This role offers a 2-3 day a week schedule and no OOHs, allowing you to balance work with personal life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate veterinary care to small animals.
  • Conduct diagnostic examinations and treatments.
  • Manage patient records and administer medications.
  • Participate in preventative care and health education for pet owners.
  • Work within the practice’s existing team to maintain smooth operations.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety within the practice setting.

Skills and Expertise:

  • RVCS qualified Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Experience in small animal practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using veterinary diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology.

Job Facilities/Benefits:

  • Excellent salary up to 60,000 DOE pro rata.
