About the Role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving small animal practice in Nottinghamshire. This part-time position offers a rewarding environment with excellent facilities and a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality veterinary care to patients.
  • Manage patient records and treatment plans.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures using available equipment.
  • Consult with clients and provide appropriate recommendations.
  • Participate in a 3-day rota (Wednesday-Friday 9am-7pm).
  • Contribute to a supportive and efficient practice environment.
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety procedures.
  • Work independently when necessary.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Minimum two years’ experience as a Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Excellent knowledge of small animal medicine.
  • Proficiency in diagnostics (x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy).
  • Strong communication and client interaction skills.
  • Experience in pain management, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, or dermatology is a plus.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Understanding of veterinary regulations.

Job Facilities/Benefits:

  • Excellent salary up to 65,000 pro-rata.
  • 28 days annual leave including Bank Holidays.
  • 1,500 CPD allowance.
  • RCVS and VDS fees paid.
