About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving small animal practice in Nottinghamshire. This part-time position offers a rewarding environment with excellent facilities and a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality veterinary care to patients.
- Manage patient records and treatment plans.
- Perform diagnostic procedures using available equipment.
- Consult with clients and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Participate in a 3-day rota (Wednesday-Friday 9am-7pm).
- Contribute to a supportive and efficient practice environment.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety procedures.
- Work independently when necessary.
Skills and Expertise:
- Minimum two years’ experience as a Veterinary Surgeon.
- Excellent knowledge of small animal medicine.
- Proficiency in diagnostics (x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy).
- Strong communication and client interaction skills.
- Experience in pain management, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, or dermatology is a plus.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Understanding of veterinary regulations.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Excellent salary up to 65,000 pro-rata.
- 28 days annual leave including Bank Holidays.
- 1,500 CPD allowance.
