About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Pastry Chef to join our prestigious team at Stowe School in Buckinghamshire. This role offers a chance to showcase your skills in a stunning environment, working with a supportive team to create exceptional desserts and baked goods for students, staff, and special events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Pastry Chef and Executive Head Chef in all aspects of the bakery section.
- Complete inventories and food requisitions.
- Manage and train kitchen staff.
- Supervise the production of pastries and desserts for service and functions.
- Ensure food quality meets department standards and maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
Skills and Expertise:
Extensive Pastry Chef experience, ideally within contract catering or high-volume operations is essential.
