About the Role:
Are you an organised administrator seeking a rewarding role in a vibrant Brighton practice? We are seeking a Patient Services Advisor to join our team on a permanent basis, working 33.5 hours per week over four days. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth administrative processes and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient appointments, including booking, rescheduling, and communication.
- Greet patients upon arrival and provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor patient wellbeing in the waiting room and escalate concerns to appropriate staff.
- Handle patient inquiries via email, phone, and in person.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and empathetic communication.
- Ensure reception area and surrounding spaces are clean, safe, and presentable.
- Maintain accurate records and complete clerical tasks including filing, photocopying, faxing, and processing repeat prescriptions.
Skills and Expertise:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced administrative environment.
- Proficient in using clinic software and systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
