About the Role:
Become a qualified Pharmacy Technician through this apprenticeship in Bedfordshire. Youll manage and supply medicines safely, legally, and effectively, adhering to regulatory standards, and provide patient advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, order, receive, maintain, and supply medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and legally.
- Provide person-centered health advice to patients on prescription and over-the-counter medicines, and refer to other healthcare professionals when needed.
- Support the day-to-day pharmacy operations, including clinical governance, business operations, and processes.
- Supervise other pharmacy staff.
- Provide training to pharmacy and wider healthcare teams.
- Maintain quality service through auditing and evaluating service and processes, and responding to feedback.
Skills and Expertise:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling pharmaceutical products.
- Proven ability to follow instructions and procedures diligently.
