About the Role:

This exciting opportunity seeks a driven Planning and Supply Chain Administrator to join a leading precision machining company in Leicestershire. You’ll be a key member of the team, contributing to the efficient management of the supply chain and supporting production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complying with company procedures and quality manuals.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Developing and maintaining departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Supporting customer requirements and portal activities.
  • Managing supplier relationships and maintaining data integrity.
  • Maintaining the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Releasing materials against planned orders.
  • Creating and controlling delivery invoices.
  • Raising and tracking purchase orders.
  • Ensuring on-time and complete deliveries, meeting internal KPIs.
  • Using company systems and processes to prevent delivery hazards.
  • Managing inventory levels across the supply chain.
  • Supporting the resolution of slow-moving work in progress (WIP).
  • Handling general administrative duties.
  • Assisting in the stores department and covering for holidays.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Planning and Supply Chain Administrator.
  • Self-sufficient and resourceful.
  • Experience in manufacturing, purchasing, or planning is beneficial.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Analytical and process-driven.
