About the Role:

Chase Bridge Primary and Nursery School, a thriving multi-award-winning school in Richmond upon Thames, seeks a dedicated Playworker to join their experienced and friendly team in their popular after-school club. This role focuses on supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and learning development in a supportive community environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire a love of learning and enjoyment amongst children, parents and staff.
  • Support children’s emotional wellbeing and development.
  • Manage and supervise children in the after-school club environment.
  • Implement engaging activities and learning opportunities for children.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure continuity in children’s learning.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Proven experience working with children, ideally including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Calm, supportive manner and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Job Facilities/Benefits:
