About the Role:
Wiltshire Police is seeking motivated and dedicated Police Constables to join our team starting July 28, 2025. This demanding yet rewarding role involves ensuring public safety, responding to emergencies, and working with communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prevent and respond to crime
- Conduct crime prevention initiatives
- Provide emergency response and manage situations safely
- Investigate crimes, gather evidence, and prepare reports
- Build positive relationships with Wiltshire communities
- Resolve conflicts calmly and professionally
- Support and protect victims and vulnerable individuals
Skills and Expertise:
- GCSE English (A*-C/9-4) or equivalent Level 2 qualification
- Two A-Levels (A-E) or equivalent
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain impartiality and integrity

Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Starting salary of 29,907.00
- Annual salary increases on anniversary of start date and pay awards (generally effective 1st September)
- Maximum salary of 48,231.00 after 7 years
- 25 days annual leave rising to 30 days
