About the Role:
Absolute Interpreting & Translations is recruiting professional Portuguese Interpreters for face-to-face and remote interpreting services in Dudley, West Midlands and surrounding areas. This role provides vital communication support for diverse communities across hospitals, schools, and various public and private sector organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional, high-quality, impartial, and confidential interpreting services.
- Engage effectively with patients, end-users, and service providers.
- Provide seamless communication support in diverse settings, including hospitals, councils, schools, and solicitors.
- Utilise both face-to-face and remote interpreting techniques (telephone and video).
Skills and Expertise:
- Fluency in Portuguese.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent listening and comprehension skills.
- Ability to adapt to various interpreting settings and situations.
- Experience in interpreting (preferred).
- Understanding of the interpreting ethical code of conduct.
