About the Role:

The School of Economics seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher to contribute to groundbreaking research on labour market sorting, funded by the UKRI Horizon Europe Guarantee Grant. The researcher will support the Principal Investigator in achieving project objectives, focusing on a project about sorting in the labour market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Principal Investigator in achieving project goals.
  • Conduct research related to sorting in the labour market.
  • Develop and implement research methodologies.
  • Analyze data and draw conclusions related to labour market sorting.
  • Contribute to publications and presentations.

Skills and Expertise:

  • PhD in Economics (or close to completion).
  • Proven research experience with a focus on labour market sorting or structural modelling.
  • Proficiency with relevant statistical software (e.g., Stata, R).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to produce high-quality research publications in leading peer-reviewed journals.
